John earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton in 1999. A partner at Impact Physio, he also assists with Orthopedics and Therapeutic Exercise Labs for first and second year PT students at the University of Scranton. A member of the American Physical Therapy Association, John has been certified in the Functional Movement Screen and as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. John has completed four courses in Trigger Point Dry Needling and regularly attends continuing education seminars and has been a speaker at regional educational meetings. His interests include fitness, basketball, golf and time with family.
Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Cedar Crest College in 1992. While working in the medical device and pharmaceutical research industries, she developed an active interest in fitness and wellness. She returned to school and earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton in 2009. Through her internship work and continuing education courses, she received extensive training and experience in spine care, orthopedic manual therapy, and women’s health/pelvic floor Physical Therapy. She successfully completed Level 1 Certification of Achievement in the Pelvic Physical Therapy Program (CAPP) in August 2012. She is also a Member of the American Physical Therapy Association. She enjoys running, skiing and spending time with her husband and 3 children.
Geoffrey Musti is a partner at Impact Physio and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science in 2008 and Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011 at the University of Scranton. Geoff is also a board certified Geriatric Specialist and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. His work includes both inpatient and outpatient settings of Physical Therapy in various facilities from NEPA to Lehigh Valley. While working at these facilities, he has gained experience treating many pathologies of various severities. Geoff has extensive post graduate experience and education in geriatrics/older adults. He also has a specific focus in fall risk management as well as gait and running biomechanics. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and his hobbies include running, golf, and tennis.
